Season 6 (end of 2020)

Intro to Doomsday

The Doomsday event runs over approximately 45 days, alternating between building and combat. We will fight other alliances from within our state and other States by attacking the Doomsday Alliance Center (AC), Honor Structures (HS) and Territories and defend our own AC and HS from attack.

Use the Doomsday icon on the right of the screen in the World view to access all of the Doomsday items and structures. Our Alliance will build 4 Alliance Centers (AC) to place our Honor Structures (HS) around. These structures are used to defend our AC, process material, and earn Season Points.

Doomsday is all about winning Season Points. You do this by occupying tiles, donating stone, earning Specialty Points, and scores from Duels. At the end of the Season, the higher our Alliance Season Points, the better rankings and rewards. Another big benefit to participating in Doomsday is the experience you can earn on your heroes. Many players level their heroes to level 50 in a single season.

We start Doomsday by building an Alliance Center and then placing our Honor Structures around the Alliance Center. Below is a layout for our Alliance Center 1 from season 2 we will be doing something similar in the coming season so PLEASE WAIT FOR INSTRUCTION

DD STATE 596

The R4/R5 will build the Alliance Center. Before we can build it, we need enough stone block (buy through Alliance Store) donated to the alliance. Start buying stone now so when we start you can donate to the Alliance Build! You will also need stone to build your personal Honor Structures.

Legion Masters and Garrison bases

Garrison Bases-
1000 Stone /3×3 Plot / 4 APCs (upgradable to 20 APCs
I believe)
You can place 4 Garrison Base to use as offense and defense. 1 person can be assigned a Garrison Base and they control the Legions inside the Base, so you will want 4 individuals to manage the Garrisons.
They do NOT have to be an R4 or R5 to control a Garrison Base. The Legions can be sent out like normal troops by the person who is controlling the Garrison Base.
Many Alliances place the Garrison Bases around their Alliance Center and fill them with APCs by offline players as a defensive strategy. This is limited use of the
Garrison Bases, as they can be placed anywhere, stocked with 4 APCS full of troops, and the person controlling the Garrison can send those APCs out to do
terrible deads just as if they were his own APCs.

You can also build the Garrison Base in an opposing state next to a green tile your Alliance occupies and send troops from the Alliance Center to the Garrison Base. Once the troops are in the Garrison Base, you
can use them to occupy tiles, attack Honor structures, convert purple tile to green, etc. But remember, they may not be YOUR troops and if you kill them all off, the
owner of the APC can’t refill them until he recalls the APC.
Make sure you trust the person who is controlling the Garrison Bases if you’re sending troops as a Legion. They may not return the same way you sent them.

The video below has more information on garrison bases and Legion Master👇

*Save the lazy!

If you’re lazy (or busy)
Give your troops to Legion Masters to participate in the Total War of Doomsday Conquest

*Be the Man (or Woman)

Scratch that, Be the PERSON
If you’re the legion master, find the right moment, rally the troops, mobilize your people, and crush your enemies!
What’s that saying again? with great power…

*Go BIG
Rally troops to alliance center>Move them to Rally Point or Garrison base> and send them out!
With each march, focusing the Legion Master’s target territory as center, troops can be sent to capture the territories 7×7 tiles within it
Aim for where it hurts!

*The Bridge
Adjust your troops with the next big thing! The Garrison Base
place it in the right place, and adjust to the right things!

You get access to Garrisons at the start of Season 3

– Each AC has it’s own garrison. 4 AC’s = 4 Garrisons
– Each Garrison has it’s own legion master.
– Legion master is assigned by R5 or Overseer.
– Legion master can be hotswapped infinite times, no cooldown, you can literally change legion masters every second (I tried).
– Legion master can only control one legion at a time. In order to control another one, you have to be removed from one then added to another.
– Garrison costs 1,000 stones (from alliance warehouse) to build. The option to build only appears to the legion master in the state view (where you build res plots and HBs)

Garrisons are 3×3, with 5,000 dura (or maybe it’s 7,500 now after the 50% more dura update). It has more dura than honor buildings but less than an AC.

Defense wise, functions similarly. If the garrison has no troops reinforcing it (garrisoning it), then the enemy will chip the durability away bit by bit similar to honor buildings and ACs with no reinforcements.

Legion Pool (I forget what its called) can have 10 APCs in it.

The actual legion itself can have 5 APCs in it. I believe top of red spec tree gives you +1 APC in legion = 6?

Steps to join a legion:
– Player clicks on respective AC then joins legion
– Legion master then adds APCs from the pool into the legion
– By default, the legion is used at the respective AC, not the garrison.
– Legion master has to move the legion from the AC to the garrison (wherever it may be, in state or in enemy state), takes about 5 minutes to transfer it. You get to see an animation of an actual airplane flying your troops LOL.

You can have a garrison at each AC or you can have all 4 in the sand or all 4 in the dark green, up to your defense/offense strategy.

There’s a short tutorial at the beginning of garrisons, shows you how it works but basically, you can set up to 5 target tiles and the legion will send out APCs in sequential order to the 5 tiles to capture.

Things to note:
– APC’s do not regenerate dura once they join the legion, so make sure APCs join legion with full dura
– Players that join the legion should have immunity to take tiles in the zone that where the legion is to be used
– Players in legion should have enough room in their tile cap as well.
– Your R5 or Overseer should be online for war to hotswap legion masters on the go. The R5 and Overseer can be legion masters themselves as well.

Defensively: Legions can be used for blocking
Offensively: Legions can be used for bridging

HIGHLY recommend you PRACTICE using legions during prep week. Get your alliance members to join the legions so that your legion masters get a chance to test out the functionality of taking tiles and transferring troops between AC and garrisons.
